China Glaze Holiday Manis

Hi everyone! Hope your first full week of December is going great. Have you started your Christmas shopping? I haven’t started yet but I’m going to knock it out next week before the stores get too crazy. Today I’m sharing a few manis I created with some of the China Glaze untried polishes in my stash.

I recently re-organized my drawer system where I keep my polishes including my untried polishes and when I laid out all of my untried polishes on my bed I gasped! All I saw was an ocean of polish and at that very moment I decided I was not going to buy anymore random polishes in a while. I will still buy collections in order to review but I have enough random untrieds to last me all of 2018 and probably 2019!!! So I want to start a series on swatching my untrieds which I will start soon… but first let’s take a look at the holiday manis I created with the first batch of my untrieds.

This is a raspberry red crelly. Wow was this watery! Super super watery which means you can’t overload your brush because you will flood your cuticles. Apply carefully and the end result is this juicy gorgeous deliciousness.

This beauty is originally from the Summer 2014 Off Shore Collection. I believe I got this one at my local beauty supply store during a sale they were having. I created this Candy Cane mani using the MoYou London Festive Collection 03 plate. For the white I used French Tip by Color Club.

This is a gorgeous emerald green metallic. This one was also a bit watery but not like Seas the Day. A little patchy on the 1st coat, but covers nicely in 2 coats. It is brushstrokey, but that’s normal with metallics. Such a beauty!!!

Originally from the Winter 2007 Ski Collection so that makes this guy 10 years old!! How perfect is this baby for Christmas?

I created this Reindeer mani using the MoYou London Festive Collection 03 plate. For the reindeers I used DS Radiance by OPI but there’s a funny story to this…. DS Radiance is a gorgeous silver metallic and it’s great for stamping. So when I first applied it and stamped the reindeer they were silver. As soon as I applied my top coat (Seche Vive) the reindeer turned gold!!! Isn’t that crazy?!?! I couldn’t believe it. I loved how they looked silver, but they look nice gold as well. I guess the mixture of the top coat with the green and silver caused it to turn gold?!! Nail polish does strange things sometimes.

Gold or silver, they still look cute. I’m getting major John Deer vibes here lol

This is champagne nude packed with silver micro glitter. Love love love! This is perfect for New Years!!! It applied very easily. I ended up doing 3 coats because I just felt like it needed that third coat for full opacity. It looks great at 2 coats though so you can leave it at that if you’d like.

So chic and elegant! This beauty is originally from the Memorable Moments Collection according to google, but I couldn’t find the exact year it was released. It’s an oldie but goodie!

I created this Stocking Mani using the MoYou London Festive Collection 03 plate. Do you put up stockings at Christmas time? I do and love decorating them.

China Glaze is 3-FREE so that means it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. China Glaze retails for about $7.50 or less in the US and is sold at Ulta, Sally Beauty, and local beauty supply stores.

Which one of these was your favorite? I loved Stellar the most but the Candy Cane mani is my favorite! I have the China Glaze Glam Finale Collection which I will be swatching and posting soon. It’s a beautiful collection!! Can’t wait to show you guys.
