China Glaze OMG Flashback 10th Anniversary Collection | Swatches + Review

Happy Mani Monday!! Today I’ve got a special collection to show you guys. This set has been highly anticipated for oh…. ten years now! This is the China Glaze OMG Flashback 10th Anniversary Collection.

China Glaze first launched the OMG Collection in Spring 2008. It was one of the very first holographic nail polish collections in the mainstream market. So these were insanely popular. The original set included 12 linear holos.

I don’t own any of the original polishes, but I’ve read that the formulas on the new ones are much better. Also, some of the original polishes go for as much as $40 on eBay! I do, however, have the new collection for you today. They kept the same names as the original polishes, but cut the re-launch down to 6 polishes. Let’s take a look at these beauties.

This is a silver linear holo. The originator, the namesake of the collection. What a beauty! The formula is a little bit thin so you will need 3 coats to get this opaque.

I took all of these photos outdoors under sunlight because that’s where all of these truly shine bright!

This is a cinnamon pumpkin spice orange linear holo. This one had a great formula! Opaque in 2 coats.

This is a raspberry magenta purple linear holo. WOW! Sooo pigmented and delicious.

Fantastic formula!! Almost opaque on the 1st coat, but I did 2 here.

This is a teal linear holo. Such a great formula! Pigmented and easy to apply. I did 2 coats here.

This is a midnight blue linear holo. Stunning!!!

Also super pigmented, barely needs 2 coats.

This is an iris purple holo. WOW!!! So delicious. I’m in love!!

I did 2 coats here but it was almost opaque on just 1 coat.

I have a live swatch + review video of this collection up on my YouTube channel here:

I used Seche Vite top coat on all of my swatches. I got mine on Amazon here.

China Glaze is 3-FREE so that means it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. China Glaze retails for about $7.50 or less in the US and is sold at Ulta, Sally Beauty, and local beauty supply stores.

These are available now at Sally Beauty and ULTA Beauty. I loved them all but OMG and IDK stood out a little more than the rest. Which one is your favorite?
