Christian Louboutin 2017 Loubichrome Collection

Hi loves! Hope you’re having a great weekend. Today I’m sharing with you a super luxurious and lavish collection. This is the Christian Louboutin 2017 Loubichrome limited edition Collection.

Christian Louboutin is best known for his amazing high heels with the iconic red bottom sole. A few years ago they launched a beauty line which included nail polish and the bottles are nothing short of incredible! They are truly unique and set themselves apart from any other nail polish bottle in the market. They are 3 FREE and made in the US.

Loubichrome is a 3 piece limited edition set of mini polishes. Their regular sized bottles are 13 mL, so these are 6 mL and retail for $30 USD each. They are definitely on the luxury high end nail polish spectrum. Let’s take a look at how they wear on the nail.

Loubichrome I

This is a pineapple sunshine yellow shimmer metallic. The formula on this one was a bit sheer. It covers pretty well on 2 coats but I did notice some patchy spots so I would do 3 coats just to make it fully opaque.

Loubichrome II

This is a ruby red shimmer metallic. WOW! This one applies really well. Opaque in 2 easy coats. Love this one!

I took this beauty outdoors to see what it would look like under the sunshine. It looks so fiery!

And here it is outdoors under shade. Still spectacular.

Loubichrome III

This is a magenta purple/pink shimmer metallic. Another flawless formula. Applies so well and fully opaque in 2 coats.

You can purchase these polishes here. They are available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and other high end luxury retailers.

So are these worth paying the $90 for all 3? I think that depends on your budget. I feel like these are an item you can treat yourself to, like a splurge! I am not only a nail polish lover, but also a collector so I see these as an investment for my collection! Are they revolutionary colors? No. Are they unique colors? No. But the bottles are AMAZING, unique, luxurious, and the fact that they are limited edition Louboutin makes them valuable to me.

My fave from the bunch is Loubichrome II. Have you tried Louboutin nail polish? Would you splurge on these polishes? Have a great weekend!
