Ciaté: Oil Slick

Happy middle of the week Pretty Polishers! I am SO glad half the week is already over… it has been a tough week and I honestly can’t wait until the weekend is here to unwind! Today I’m sharing an incredible bargain I found. This one tops the best bargains on my list. This is Oil Slick by Ciaté.

I recently went to Burlington Coat Factory to get my baby cousin a sweater because that is the only place in sweltering-hot Miami that carries winter clothes at this time of year. As I was in line to pay, I spotted a duo set of Ciaté for $4.99. That means each polish was $2.50 and they were both FULL size bottles!! Um, heck yea!!! I didn’t think twice about getting these! The first one from the set I tried was Oil Slick.

This is a GORGEOUS duo-chrome shimmer that shifts from bronze to green. It’s such a beauty. Perfectly opaque in 2 coats and the formula is super easy to apply. I’m in love! Here is the shift to green:

The first polish that came to mind when I saw this was OPI’s Green on the Runway… I thought duo chrome, green, yea it probably looks just like it! And then when I got home, I put the two side by side and realized, not even close:

LOL!! Green on the Runway is obviously more green and it’s actually a multi-chrome. Oil Slick is much more bronze and a duo-chrome.

Green on the Runway is one of my fave polishes ever! I did a review on it here.

Ciaté is a London-based UK polish started in 2009 by Charlotte Knight. The polish is 5 FREE and formulated without parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. The brush is flat and extra wide making application a breeze. The cap is elegantly long and nicknamed “stiletto” which gives you added control when applying the polish. Ciaté is sold online, at Sephora, or as in my case you can sometimes find this brand at Burlington Coat Factory. They retail for about $15 for the full size and $8 for the mini size. So basically I got an amazing deal 🙂 Happiness is a Bargain!

Burlington Coat Factory just like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Winners, and other bargain retail/home stores carry random polish so I’m not sure if you can find this exact set, but you will definitely find bargain polish at these stores! I’ll be sharing the second polish from my bargain find soon. Did you like this duo chrome? Have you found any bargain polish at these retail stores?

Stay strong in your Pursuit!
