Hello Lacquered Lovelies! Today I’m bringing you another edition of my new series called “Classics” where I share with you a classic shade from a popular or mainstream brand. On today’s pedestal is Lincoln Park After Dark by OPI.
This shade actually belongs to the OPI Classics Collection. It was originally released in the Fall 2005 Chicago Collection so that means it is TEN years old!!! Definitely worthy of a classics post! It is so beloved and such a staple, OPI made it part of their Classics Collection.
Lincoln Park After Dark is a deep vampy plum almost black. As OPI describes it, it’s when midnight meets purple ! The formula is fantastic, it’s very rich and creamy on the 1st coat and evens out perfectly on the 2nd coat.
There is also another OPI polish called Lincoln Park After Midnight which is similar to this guy but the difference is that it has very subtle shimmer. I might do a post on that one if I can find it.
In conclusion polish lovers… this is a MUST-have in your collection! It is perfect for Fall and Winter. The formula is excellent, what more can I say? You NEED it! Haha 🙂
OPI is 3 FREE so it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. Not all of OPI’s polishes are 3 FREE but it is said that after 2006 all are 3 FREE. It’s best to check labels if you have a concern. OPI is sold at beauty supply stores, Ulta, Target, drugstores, and Amazon or eBay if you want to find the classics.
Do you own Lincoln Park After Dark? What did you think of this shade?
