Happy Tuesday! Any day that involves polish is a happy day for me. 🙂
Today I’m sharing a picture perfect Spring shade. Flowers in Her Hair by Deborah Lippmann is a perfect mint from the Spring 2014 Reveries Collection. The formula was actually great. Sometimes with minty pastel-y shades the formula is very streaky but this was amazing. It was almost opaque on the first coat. Very thick and pigmented! The few patches that were left behind on the first coat, evened out on the second coat. Lovely!
This is 2 coats with top coat outdoors under natural sunlight.
The first polish I thought about when I saw this was Fashion Playground from essie of course! I grabbed all of the polishes from my collection that somewhat resembled this shade. Let’s see how they compare.
Tiana – Flowers in Her Hair – Fashion Playground – Turquoise & Caicos – That’s Hula-rious!
So as you can see Fashion Playground is the closest in color but it has shimmer. Turquoise & Caicos comes in a close second. The others are more greenish and lighter. Flowers in Her Hair is a fun color to add to my glowing collection of mints!
Deborah Lipmman is 5 FREE (contains no Toluene, Formaldehyde, Resin, Camphor, or DBP) and is never tested on animals. These beauties are sold on Sephora.com for $18 each.
