Hello Pretty Polishers! Today I’m bringing you another edition of DUPES! Finally!!! It’s been a hot minute since I did a DUPES comparison. I love doing these and finding real actual DUPES! because it saves you the trouble of purchasing two polishes that are identical. Going head to head today are two colors that are bright, fiery, and great for summer.
Hot Tamale by Sally Hansen vs. Pop The Trunk by China Glaze
These look very very similar in the bottle. Let’s take a look at each one individually.
This is a bright orange jelly leaning toward red. It has an excellent formula, applies like a dream and is opaque in 2 coats. He is from the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear line. These photos were taken indoors under a high definition lamp.
Pop The Trunk
This is also a bright orange jelly leaning toward red. Also has an excellent formula, pretty much the same as Hot Tamale. This polish is from the Spring 2015 Road Trip Collection that I just reviewed here. I liked the brush on the Sally Hansen polish a little better though because it is a little thicker so helps aid in smooth application. You have to be careful to not overload the China Glaze brush on this one otherwise you might flood your cuticles. This photo was taken outdoors under natural sunlight.
Now let’s take a look at these side by side:
IDENTICAL!!! These two are true DUPES! These two are so similar I actually wore them like this on my nails for a full day and no one noticed I had on two different polishes. China Glaze retails for $7.50 and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear retails for $2.50 so it’s really up to you how much you wanna spend or what you have access to buy but you don’t need both of these! You can find CG at Sally Beauty Supply and SH at Target, Walmart or most drugstores.
Hope you enjoyed this edition of DUPES and let me know if there are any two polishes you want me to compare side by side! Thanks for stopping by… the weekend is almost here 🙂
