Hi loves! TGIF!!! It’s been a crazy busy week for me and we are already in August!! I wanted to stay in July for just a little longer because August means Summer is almost over 🙁 The bright side is now we get to decorate for Fall and Halloween is around the corner which is my FAVORITE holiday of the year. Ok guys, so today I’m doing a DUPES post! Let’s compare IDK by China Glaze to Eternal Beauty by Color Club.
I received tons of questions on how some of the China Glaze OMG re-launch polishes compared to the Color Club Halo Hues. Let’s take a look at these two purple beauties.
ETERNAL BEAUTY by Color Club
This is a stunning purple scattered holographic. It is insanely holographic!!! Super pigmented. Almost opaque in 1 coat but I did 2 coats here.
The holo pigment in this is super strong and looks amazing under sunlight.
IDK by China Glaze
This is an iris purple linear holographic. WOW!!! So delicious. I’m in love!!
I have a full review up on the OMG Collection by China Glaze that you can check out here.
So now let’s look at these side by side:
Definitely not DUPES! IDK is a bit lighter purple than Eternal Beauty and the holographic pigment is very different. It’s much stronger in the CC polish because they added more pigment of course and it’s more subtle in the CG polish. So here it’s really just a preference wether you want a strong holo or subtle holo. Price-wise China Glaze retails for $9 and Color Club retails for $9 so they are the same price. I love both of these, they are absolutely stunning.
I was sent IDK by China Glaze as PR but you can purchase it on Amazon here. I purchased Eternal Beauty by Color Club on Amazon here. I topped both of these babies off with Seche Vite top coat that I got on Amazon here.
Do you own either of these? Which one do you prefer? What polishes do you want me to compare for the next DUPES post? Have a great weekend loves!
