DUPES?!? KL Polish Mother of Dragons vs. China Glaze Wicked Liquid

Can you believe Christmas is 2 weeks away?!? Goodness! I can because honestly this entire year has flown by so I was prepared for December to go in the blink of an eye. Today I have an awesome DUPES comparison for you guys. This one came from one of my followers on Instagram. In the ring today is Mother of Dragons by KL Polish vs. Wicked Liquid by China Glaze.

I was so curious to see if these were DUPES because side by side they do look similar. First, let’s take a look at each one separately.

MOTHER OF DRAGONS

This is a brassy green filled with gold glitter. The formula on this is great. It was super easy to apply and opaque in 2 coats.

WICKED LIQUID

This is a black gold metallic. This polish literally glows!!! It’s beautiful. The formula is fantastic!!! It was opaque in 1 easy coat.

Now let’s take a look at these pretties side by side:

Dangggg! I thought it was going to be a closer race, but looking at these side by side you can clearly see they are NOT DUPES!!!! China Glaze Wicked Liquid is much darker and it’s opaque in 1 easy coat. KL Polish Mother of Dragons is much more of a gold bronze and is streaky on the first coat but opaque on the second coat.

Price wise, KL Polish is $9.50 and China Glaze is $7.50 USD.
