DUPES? Merry Whatever by China Glaze vs. Casino Night & Das Esspensive XXV by KL Polish

Happy Friday! It has been a week of late night blog posts because I have been so busy at work. I’m glad you guys are enjoying these DUPES posts!!! Keep the requests coming guys!!! Today we are comparing Merry Whatever by China Glaze to Das Esspensive XXV and Casino Night by KL Polish.

Let’s take a look at each one first.

Merry Whatever.

This is an amazing champagne gold glitter. YUMMY! Love this one. Super festive. Perfect for NYE! This is 2 coats.

Das Esspensive XXV

This is a champagne micro glitter filled with holo hex glitter. It has a great formula and is opaque almost in 1 coat. I did 2 coats here to even it out.

Casino Night

This is a glitter filled with gold and holo hex + micro glitter. Gorgeous! Great formula. It applies smooth and is opaque in two coats.

Now let’s take a look at these side by side:

So there’s good news here…. Merry Whatever and Das Esspensive XXV are pretty close. It doesn’t look like it in the individual swatches, but side by side they look super SIMILAR! I would say Merry Whatever is a tiny bit more gold toned glitter but it is close to Das Esspensive XXV which is good news because that means if you missed out on Das Esspensive XXV, you can get Merry Whatever and it’s a close enough DUPE! They aren’t identical but they are close and since Das Esspensive XXV is no longer sold, Merry Whatever can help cure the craving. Casino Night is a much darker gold glitter.

Price wise, KL Polish is $9.50 and China Glaze is $7.50 USD.
