Happy Mothers Day! I had a beautiful day with my mom and sissy celebrating them for being the best moms.
Today we are doing part 2 of the MILA comparisons. I had requests to compare Mila to two OPI polishes that are classics. If you missed part 1 of the MILA comparisons you can see them here.
Let’s take a look at each one first.
YOU’RE SO VAIN-ILLA BY OPI
This is a stunning light beige nude creme. It is a bit streaky and patchy but I found that with 3 coats it evened out nicely. This beauty is originally from the 2014 Coca-Cola Collection.
MY VAMPIRE IS BUFF
This is a nude vanilla bean creme with yellow undertones. It is from the 2013 Spring Euro Centrale Collection. So many nail artists use this as their base color. This one is a bit streaky. It evens out in 3 coats.
MILA by Lights Lacquer
This is an ivory beige creme. Excellent formula. I was so pleasantly surprised. I thought for sure this polish would be streaky as most polishes this color can be. Nope not here! This was smooth, creamy, pigmented, and opaque in two easy coats. Originally from the YNBB Collection by Lights Lacquer.
Here they are sidAlright so now that we have looked at each one individually, let’s check out the comparison! Here they are side by side:
WOW! I was really thinking we would find a DUPE here. Wahhh! Still no DUPES. You’re So Vain-illa is too yellow, and even though My Vampire is Buff is close… it’s a little lighter than Mila. So again, NO DUPES. It’s safe to say Mila is very unique!
If there are any other polishes you can think of that I haven’t compared Mila to, let me know in the comments.
