DUPES? Olivia by Lights Lacquer Comparisons

Hi everyone! We have reached the end of the DUPES comparisons for the YNBB Collection by Lights Lacquer. If you missed the others here they are:

MILA

MATILDA

LYLA

EMMA

ALYANNA

essie Partner in Crime – LL Olivia – KL Polish Broccoli & Chocolate

Today is Olivia’s turn! Everyone wanted me to compare Olivia to KL Polish’s Broccoli & Chocolate so of course I did. I also added Partner in Crime by essie because it looked close enough and I knew Broccoli & Chocolate was lighter in the bottle. Let’s take a look at each one.

OLIVIA by Lights Lacquer

This is a rich expresso coffee brown with red undertones. Fantastic coverage. It looks so vampy and luscious. This one will look a little darker inside under regular lighting. The perfect vampy shade. This is two coats.

PARTNER IN CRIME by essie

This is a dark espresso brown. The formula is fantastic! It is opaque in 1 easy coat if you do a thick enough coat. I did these swatches ages ago, so please don’t mind the bad pic :/ This polish is originally from the Fall 2014 Dressed to Kilt Collection.

BROCCOLI & CHOCOLATE by KL Polish

This is a rich chocolate brown crelly. YUM! So delicious. This one was a bit more watery and thin than the others. It applies smooth and is opaque in 2 coats. Originally from the launch collection from 2017.

Alright so now that we have looked at each one individually, let’s check out the comparison! Here they are side by side:

This one’s tough because they are close, but none of these are actual DUPES. Broccoli & Chocolate is a tiny bit lighter than Olivia and Partner in Crime is a bit darker although it is closer to Olivia than B&C. The difference is a hair.

If there are any other polishes you can think of that I haven’t compared Olivia to, let me know in the comments.

As always, I topped my swatches off with Seche Vite which you can get here. The YNBB Collection can be purchased here.
