essie Spring 2019 Collection

It’s starting to feel a lot like Spring now in Miami. We had a very weird Winter with colder than usual days and a lot of rain. I’m glad it’s over and I hope there is nothing but sunny days moving forward. essie has launched a gorgeous Spring Collection. These are not your norm pastels, Spring-y shades. There are tons of beautiful shimmers here so let’s take a look at each one.

This is a gorgeous lilac with a strong green shimmer. The formula is fantastic. Super opaque and perfect in 2 coats.

This lovely is giving me fairy dust vibes. Love it!

This is a beautiful pale peachy pastel nude-ish creme. It is a bit streaky and not as opaque as I wish, so I ended up doing 3 coats here. You can get away with 2 but I needed more opacity.

This is a pearlized peach with pink shimmer. This one was okay. Not my fave. The formula is good though. Opaque in 2 coats.

I’m not a huge fan of the pink shimmer. I think it would have looked better without the shimmer.

This is an amazing peach filled with gold and iridescent glitter. This one is stunning!! It looks almost like glass. Wow!! Formula is great and although it is not opaque in 2 coats I love it.

See all of those delicious glitters in there? Yeaaaa, be careful with removal because it can get messy. Try to do single swipes down so you don’t get it all over your fingers.

This is a mocha brown filled with gold shimmer. I really really dislike this color on my skin tone. It would look beautiful on a fair skin tone but not my olive tone. The formula on the other hand was perfect. It was opaque in 1 coat.

We have a one coater here!!!

This is a grenish grey packed with gold glitter. Oh MY! This one is so pretty. Love love love. Not your typical spring shade. It looks a bit more Winter-y to me. This one gives me pewter vibes.

The gold glitter in here is perfection.
