Hi loves! So today feels so strange because yesterday was a holiday, and today is a normal work day, so it kind of feels like it’s supposed to be Sunday, but it’s not. I’m totally off on my days now! But it’s going to be nice to get another break on Saturday and Sunday! Although I feel like I’m always working lol Aside from my blog and YouTube I feel like I have 3 other jobs 🙂 Alright guys, today I am showing the essie Color of the Month! I’m excited about this one, which is why I’m posting it so early in the month. This is Watermelon by essie.
Watermelon is a cerise raspberry pink crelly. The formula is GREAT! Super buttery and easy to apply. It is a little bit watery so don’t overload your brush because you will flood your cuticles! It’s a teeny bit streaky but you can’t really notice when it’s on the nail. The color is actually a bit darker than in my photos. It was so difficult to get an accurate color pic!
It’s perfectly opaque in 2 coats and dries to a juicy finish. I always use Seche Vite top coat to seal everything in. I purchased mine on Amazon here.
The number on the bottom says 127 which means this essie is OLD!!! It’s one of the original shades and it’s extra special because 1/27 is my birthday 🙂 I have had essie Watermelon for eons. It was probably one of the first essie’s I ever purchased.
I LOVE this month’s pick from essie. It is a such a perfect July color! Juicy, bright, and delicious, hey kind of like a real watermelon 🙂 Ha! So much so that I decided to so a little watermelon accent nail! I used a black nail art pen by Sally Hansen to create the seeds and vibrant Vibes by essie for the green stripe. What do you think?
