Femme Fatale 2017 Blogger Collaborations | Swatches + Review

Hi loves!! Happy weekend 🙂 How was your week? Mine was really busy and productive! I’m glad the weekend is here. Today I’m showing you the Femme Fatale Cosmetics 2017 Blogger Collaborations Collection!

This Femme Fatale Collection is made up of three trios with collaborators including Laetitia of ilaeti, Lexa of Glitterfingersss, and Sam of Fashion Polish Each trio comes with it’s very own box with the blogger’s name and design on the front. They are super pretty! Each polishe will retail at $13.50 USD. I will be showing you two of the three shades in each trio. Thank you so much to Femme Fatale for sending these beauties to me for review. Let’s take a look at them!

The Animal Lovers Trio by ilaeti

Laetitia had this to say about the inspiration behind her trio: “I chose this theme obviously because I like animals! They have always been a part of my life (cats, dogs, birds when I was a child), they kept me company in harder times, and they always had a large place in my heart (you probably already noticed on Instagram).

Today, I am a grown-up, with grown-up responsibilities and problems; most of the time I come home from work all stressed out but the second I open my door and see my cats greeting me, all the worries go away and my thoughts are focused on this instinctive relationship. This is what they bring me: a peaceful (and fun!) environment. This is why I love them and care about their well-being.

This feeling of respect and admiration I have does not only go towards (my) cats, all animals are strong, fascinating, mysterious, gracious, unapologetic… they just are.”

This is a strong coral crème with a hint of strawberry pink tones, fine golden shimmer, holographic particles and fine holographic microglitter. The formula on this was great! It goes on smooth and is opaque in 2 easy coats.

This is a gorgeous bright blue jelly with green-gold glow, scattered holographic glitters and holographic accents. Wow! What an amazing formula!! It was opaque on almost 1 coat. The glitter dries dull so you will need a glossy top coat. This is so so stunning. 2 easy coats.

Things To Love Trio by Glitterfingersss

Lexa had this to say about her inspiration for these polishes: “Aquatic is inspired by forever place & theme – the sea and ocean life. Aurora Borealis by a place I would love to experience someday – the Northern Lights. And Colour Crush a fresh take on my favourite colour combination – teal and orange/copper.”

This is a striking deep grey crelly base with blow luminescent glow, scattered holographic particles, rich sapphire holographic microglitters and iridescent blue flakies. The formula was a bit sheer but builds up nicely and is fully opaque in 3 coats.

This is a rich, deep forest green crelly base that leans to an almost-teal, with copper glow, red-copper chrome flakes, scattered holographic orange glitters and ultra-fine burnished copper shimmers. So much packed in here!! It has a good formula, very pigmented and builds up. I left it at 2 coats but you can do 3 if you want a deeper darker forest green.

The Oxymora Trio with Fashion Polish

Sam had this to say about her inspiration for these polishes: “The Oxymora trio reflects the contradiction in us and around us. I wanted to express the complexity of nature (and by extension in human nature) and how it is possible to find love and beauty in the most unexpected places.  How brilliance and be found in darkness or sophistication in simplicity.”

This is a stunning neutral beige with slight grey undertones, scattered holographic particles, small platinum flakes and fine holographic microglitter. This one was sheer on the first coat, but fully opaque in 2 coats. I love how delicate and subtle this mani looks! It will dry matte so you need a glossy top coat.

This is a soft grey base with strong warm tones that lean it to having a hint of brown, red glow, scattered holographic particles, iridescent microglitters and a gorgeous layer of red-green shifting iridescent flakes. More gorgeous glitter-packed polish! So much going on in here, but Femme Fatale really knows how to pack it all in. This was sheer on the 1st coat but covers nicely in 2.

Congrats to all the lovely ladies that had the honor of being part of this collab! The polishes created were all very gorgeous. I loved all of the polishes, but the two that stood out the most for me were Flamingo Feather and Cat’s Eye. Which one was your favorite?

Have a great weekend loves!
