Frankenstein’s Cute Monster

Happy Halloween Hump Day!

How is everyone’s Halloween week going? My week is going amazing…I am patiently waiting for Friday 🙂 [Insert pumpkin emoji here] LOL

Today I am sharing with you the most difficult and time-consuming mani I have ever done! My Frankenstein’s cute monster nails took a lot of effort and practice! I used nail stripers and dotting tools to create the patches and the cute monster. Here is fun fact that you might not know – people usually think the monster’s name is Frankenstein, but in reality, the scientist who created the monster is named Dr. Frankenstein! Weird, huh? The monster actually doesn’t have a name. He is just “the monster”. So next time you hear someone calling the monster Frankenstein, you can share this fun fact with them 🙂

To create this look I used the green polish (No. 91) from my Anafeli Paris haul, The purple is Do You Have This Color in Stock-holm? from OPI, and the black is Who Are You Calling Bossy?!? from OPI. The black nail striper is from KISS and I got it in a three pack from Wal-Mart. This was actually my very first time nail striping and I would just like to give a huge shout out to all the fantastic nail artists out there that make it look so easy! It does take a lot of practice with a steady hand and skill 😉 My inspiration was a mani I saw on Instagram by @polishedtwins. At the end of my post I show a comparison between mine and the inspired mani. I loved hers so I had to try to re-create. With more practice, I will get better at using the nail stripers. Hope you like this fun cute mani!

Stay strong in your Pursuit!
