Are you feeling lucky today? I am definitely feeling lucky! Not only is it the weekend, but it’s St. Patrick’s Day in the US! You know, I’m not even sure if they celebrate this holiday in Ireland, but today everyone in the US is a little Irish 🙂 Since it’s a GREEN day, I thought it would be perfect to share a March Marvel polish, but not just any green polish, today’s March Marvel is also the China Glaze Color of the Month. This is Four Leaf Clover.
This beauty is a kelly green and teal polish. Now those are two totally different colors right? Well, this polish is both of those. It is bright, creamy, very pigmented, and VERY difficult to photograph. This is 2 coats and outdoors under direct sunlight.
Originally from the Spring 2010 Up and Away Collection, this gem is an oldie but a goodie. The more I photographed this polish, the more I realized it is different colors depending on the lighting. It’s such a weird color to describe and it is hard to find a good exact color match online. You just have to see it in person. Here it is indoors under high definition lights.
It looks more teal right? Well, now take a look at it indoors with just the flash from my iPhone.
Kelly green!!! This polish is so crazy but I love love love it! I had to add a little four leaf clover sticker to my mani to celebrate today’s special occasion. This sticker is from Vinyl Boutique. The white polish is Paper Snow by KL Polish that you can see reviewed here.
China Glaze is 3-FREE so that means it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. China Glaze retails for about $7.50 or less in the US and is sold at Ulta, Sally Beauty, and local beauty supply stores.
I decided to create another St. Patty’s Day mani so I’m gonna throw it in this post as a bonus since today is St. Patrick’s Day!
I used Plumpy by Cupcake Polish and these cute shamrock stickers that I purchased at my local beauty supply store.
How do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? I am heading out with my lucky leprechaun to grab some green beer! Have a great weekend loves.
