Happy Thanksgiving Pretty Polishers!

It’s officially Turkey Day! I know this holiday is not celebrated around the world, but here in the US we take today to be thankful, celebrate and feast with our loved ones. My favorite part about Thanksgiving is waking up and watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade on TV from my cozy bed. My favorite food on Thanksgiving is the cranberry sauce. I always smother my turkey in it which gives it the most delicious taste 🙂 Mmm! What is your favorite thing to do and eat on Thanksgiving?

Today I’m sharing my Turkey day mani! This look was inspired by Miss Jen Fabulous. I first discovered her on YouTube. She has awesome nail art tutorials. I hope to create my own YouTube channel with nail art tutorials soon. It’s very time-consuming! But I can’t wait to start because I’m passionate about nails!!!

To create this adorable look I used the following polish (not all pictured below):

OPI – Alpine Snow, Who Are You Calling Bossy?!?

Essie – Style Cartel, Roarrrrange, Hot Coco

Zoya – America

Chunky Glitter in Espresso from Michael’s Craft Stores

I started with a base of Alpine Snow on all nails. To create the Turkey nail I started with the feathers. I used a thin nail art brush and made the large feathers in different colors. Then once those feathers were fully dry, I used Style Cartel to add a large round circle for the turkey’s body toward the bottom of the nail, then added a smaller circle on top for his head. For the eyes I used Alpine Snow and little dots with Who Are You Calling Bossy?!?. To make the beak, I used Roarrrrange in a triangle shape under the eyes. On the other nails you can create the same feathers to highlight the turkey! On the thumb I added a top coat and immediately threw some chunky glitter on top while it was still wet so the glitter can stick. This gives my turkey a sparkly look 🙂

Hope you liked this cute turkey design and get inspired to re-create your own!

Have an amazing Thanksgiving with your loved ones and don’t forget to stay strong in your Pursuit!
