Last night my boyfriend asked me if I could go with him to Walgreens because he needed to pick up some toothpaste because he didn’t like the one I bought, so immediately I thought, “Walgreens? Nail polish? Of course I’ll go with you honey!”. So I hopped in his car and as soon as we got there I started perusing through the beauty aisle when I spotted these lovelies:

Oooooohhh!!! I liked them right off the bat because the display said they were made of 100% real nail polish. Sometimes with these stickers/appliqués, you get stuck with plastic-y, thick, not easy to apply stickers that bubble and look crappy so I don’t usually buy them. However, even though I was not familiar with this brand, I wanted to try these! And for $4.99 I thought the price was right. I chose the Independence Day set because it had gorgeous stars and stripes with glitter over them.

The set includes ten appliqués, an instruction booklet and a mini nail file to file down the excess part of the stickers. The steps are super easy to follow. Your nails should be clean and free from any polish or oils for best application. To remove the stickers you simply use nail polish remover. Here is how you can apply them:

  1. Remove clear cover.
  2. Peel polish strip from backing paper, pulling from the silver tab.
  3. Tear silver tab off of polish strip. Select the end of the strip that best fits your nail.
  4. Apply polish strip to the nail, gently stretching for a perfect fit. You can realign by peeling the nail strip and placing it where you want on the nail. Firmly press the strip until smooth and wrinkle-free.
  5. Remove excess nail strip by using a cuticle cutter and then creasing the strip at the nail edge and using the nail file in a downward motion. The excess strip will come right off.
