Fall is quickly approaching and the happiest time of year is coming – Halloween!!! LOL If you know me, you know Halloween is my fave holiday ever. The official start of Fall in the US is this Saturday, the 22nd so in anticipation of the start of a new season, today I’m sharing with you the KL Polish 2018 Fall Collection – Fall in the City.
The inspiration behind this collection was a beautiful Autumn day in New York City. If you didn’t already know, Kathleen Lights is the mastermind behind KL Polish. She designs each collection, names the polishes, and this year her nail polish brand is officially TWO years old!!! I have the honor of being a KL Polish Ambassador, which means I will get to show you the newest collections as soon as they launch and offer you guys a coupon code to save money off your entire order! This collection launches today so if you do purchase any of these pretties, don’t forget to use POLISHEDPURSUIT before you check out to get 10% off! Now, let’s take a look at each one:
This is a gorgeous deep blackened purple shimmer. SO so soooo pigmented. I was able to get this opaque in 1 thick coat. I’m in love! This polish is perfect for Halloween.
Kathleen named this one after the villain from her favorite Disney movie ” The Emperor’s New Groove”.
This is a plumrose berry creme. Another amazingly pigmented polish. Super smooth, easy to apply, and almost opaque on the 1st coat. The second coat deepens the color a bit. I adore this shade for Fall. This one is named after Jane from Jane the Virgin, one of Kathleen’s favorite shows.
This is a dark grey/denim blue creme. ONE coat of gloriousness in a bottle! This is delicious, buttery smooth and has incredible pigment. Another perfect creme for Fall. This one is named after Kathleen’s grandfather’s birthday.
This is a gold to green duo chrome. It is pretty sheer on the 1st coat, but covers completely on the 2nd coat. It was a bit brushstrokey, which I wasn’t a fan of, but it does even out with a top coat.
Here it is outdoors under shade.
Kathleen named this one Medusa because of the colors and gold shift.
This a taupe nude filled with silver iridescent glitter. It’s super sheer on the 1st coat, but covers well on the 2nd coat. I’m not crazy about this tone just because I feel like it doesn’t go well with my medium skin tone. The glitter in this is super noticeable and transfer well onto the nail.
Kathleen named this polish after a reference from one of her favorite shows, The Office.
This is a muted peanut butter yellow creme. OMG! I love this one guys!! I’m all for the weird, strange, different colors and I have nothing like this in my collection. If you’re wondering how this compares to Caramello, I do a side by side comparison of DUPES in my YouTube video. This was pigmented, buttery, and smooth. Applies like a dream and is opaque in 2 easy coats.
This one just plain and simple looks like peanut butter, so it was easy for Kathleen to name. I love peanut butter!! Especially with apples! If you guys haven’t tried that yet, I highly recommend it. Such a yummy snack!!! And yes, I did take photos of my nails next to peanut butter To Go packs so you guys can see how much it really does look like peanut butter!
All of my swatches are topped off with Seche Vite. You can get it on Amazon here.
If you want to see these babies in action, I have a live swatch + review video up on my YouTube channel here:

Kathleen always does amazing photo shoots for her collection launches so here are some of the photos she took for the Fall in the City Collection. She is perfection! If you order the bundle, it will come with a little booklet featuring all of these beautiful photos.
My top favorites were Peanut Butter, Jane, and Yzma but honestly they are all amazing. This collection is gorgeous! Which one was your favorite? Have a great week loves!
