Lights Lacquer Misc Polishes

Happy Friday polish lovers! In celebration of the new Lights Lacquer Advent calendar which launches today, I am showing you a few polishes from Lights Lacquer that were stand alone polishes, not in collections which I have not swatched yet.

These are all available except Serendipity and Moonstone which were limited edition and have sold out. Let’s take a look at these beauties!

This beauty is a muted sagey grey creme. It was released for Thanksgiving last year. I purchased immediately but didn’t get a chance to wear or swatch it. Kathleen (the creator of Lights Lacquer) has recently discussed making this a permanent color because originally it was supposed to be limited edition. The formula is excellent. Super creamy, buttery and smooth. Opaque in 2 easy coats.

This is a beautiful cherry red crelly. This one has a thinner formula. Super juicy and squishy. Formula is great and easy to work with, just be careful not to overload your brush and do thin coats so you don’t flood your sidewalls. This is 2 coats.

This is a stark white creme. The formula is great and easy to work with. It’s a bit patchy after the first coat so I ended up doing 2.5 coats because some nails needed a third coat. I wouldn’t say its good for stamping, but it’s definitely good as a base for some pretty nail art. Or for a beautiful white mani!

This is a black creme. This one had a rich pigmented formula. It was easy to work with and opaque in 2 coats. These two polishes have the same names as the polishes from her previous brand, KL Polish. They are two staples in any Lights Lacquer collection.

This is an iridescent flakie topper. I did one coat over Tuxedo Mask and it looks stunning! The flakie shards are easy to work with. The base of the polish is a little goopy, but the shards lay flat and smooth on the nail. It’s a shame this one is out of stock, but hopefully she launches something similar soon!

The way these flakies pop over the black is just perfection!

Lights Lacquer can be purchased on their website here.

Make sure you check out their advent calendar too if it’s not sold out already! It comes with 12 fun products including exclusive nail polish.

As always I used essie gel setter over all of my swatches which you can get on Amazon here.

Which one of these was your fave? Were you able to pick up the sold out polishes when they launched? Have a great weekend everyone!
