TGIF!!! I must say this every Friday, but I am always so happy when Friday rolls around. This weekend I am having a birthday dinner with my closest loved ones. I am very much looking forward to it!
Today I am sharing a beautiful shade by L’Oreal. I have never owned any L’Oreal polish, well that’s not entirely true… I do own a Lancôme polish and Lancôme is technically owned by L’Oreal. Did you know that? I learned that when I used to work as a beauty consultant for Lancôme eons ago! I LOVED working there. Those were back in my college days when I was obsessed with makeup, well now my obsession has shifted to polish! 🙂
So this gorgeous gel polish by L’Oreal is called Lacqueriste 710. It is a bright strawberry pink/coral. It’s part of a 3 step process L’Oreal has for a gel finish. First you prime, then polish, then glaze and it’s supposed to give you the gel look without the harmful UV light. I didn’t use the primer or glaze but this polish looks amazing even without those two. It dries as a jelly and a bit sheer but with 2.5 coats it was opaque enough. I added a coat of HK Girl top coat and this baby was gleaming with that lovely squishy jelly look. LOVE it!!! L’Oreal is really stepping up their game. I have also just purchased the infamous Masked Affair, so I will be posting my experience with that highly coveted polish soon!
My accent nail is a base of white using Alpine Snow, chevron decals from Nail Vinyls, and the black is Who Are You Calling Bossy?!?. I’m obsessed with the way this looks. The pink polish really makes the black and white chevron pop so much more. L.O.V.E.!!!
Hope you enjoyed this mani as much as I did! Have a great weekend Pretty Polishers.
Stay strong in your Pursuit.
