Happy Friday and Happy New Year loves!!! This is my first post of 2018 🙂 It took me two weeks to finally post because it has been a cray cray last two weeks. Between the holidays and moving, I haven’t had much time to myself. I’m so glad to be back though, and to finally start sharing with you the many posts I have planned for this year. Today I’m taking you guys on a tour of my Museum of Ice Cream experience! It was the coolest ever!!! And naturally, I had to do matching ice cream nails.
Ok let’s first talk nails. I am so happy with the way these turned out. I did 2 coats of Carnation Pink by Sally Hansen x Crayola as my base. Amazing formula by the way! Then I used the gorgeous Tumlr Girl 01 plate by MoYou London. The white polish is White by Sally Hansen x Crayola. Technically it’s a unicorn coming out of an ice cream and donuts on the other nails but it’s still a bunch of sweets and thats what was all over the place at the Museum of Ice Cream!
If you’ve never heard of the Museum of Ice Cream, it started in San Francisco and then went to Los Angeles or could be vice versa, I’m not sure. And now… it’s made it’s way to Miami! What is it?, you ask, well its a super cute, colorful, delicious adventure through different rooms filled with special treats and sweets. YUM! The Miami location opened on December 13, 2017 and I was there on the very first day ready to stuff my face with goodies. I took tons of pics and video which I posted on my Instagram Stories of course! This place is an Instagramer’s dream because there are so many gorgeous photo ops. Here are some of the beauties I captured from the museum.
I was obsessed with some of the floors at the museum like this pink holo glittery floor. OMG! In person it’s so gorgeous!! The pic doesn’t even come close. There was also an amazing gold holo floor.
The walls, floors, ceilings, and even stairs were all painted so colorful and bright. It made me so happy!
How pretty is this sandcastle? It was made from this weird pink thick sand. Super cool.
There were so many treats to choose from… I basically got one of each! Entrance to the museum includes ice cream, gummies, and so much more.
This melted vanilla ice cream was like vanilla ice cream milk. Sooooooo incredibly good!!
Plastic popsicles hanging upside down. Looking very artsy.
This was one of my favorite rooms in the museum. It was filled with giant ice cream cone fans.
Don’t these balloons remind you of the movie UP?
This was a frozen banana dipped in chocolate with nuts. Delicious!!!
My boyfriend and I had SUCH a fun time! This was a super tiny room (you only fit in it if you sat down and crawled in and out) filled with mirrored looking circles and pink everywhere. Even our faces look pink!
And nowwwww…. my FAVORITE part of the whole museum… the SPRINKLE POOL!!!
Sprinkles galore! You get to jump (more like hop) in the sprinkle pool and literally swim in a pool of sprinkles. It’s so satisfying lol!! Can you tell I loved it?
We had such a great time at the museum! I highly recommend it if you want to do something different. It’s great for adults and kids and the best part is you get to eat so much ice cream and delicious treats. If you’re interested in finding out if the museum is coming to your city click here.
Does this look like a place you would go to? What is your favorite ice cream? Mine is Rocky Road! There was so much more at the museum that I didn’t post, so if you want to see more you’ll just have to go check it out! Have a great weekend loves 🙂
