Happy Mani Monday loves! Hope everyone had a restful weekend. Today I am sharing a TJ Maxx find. This is Sharks by NARS x Pierre Hardy.
I have always loved going into TJ Maxx for the deals, organic products, and name brands for less. TJ Maxx, Homegoods and Marshalls are three of my favorite stores ever. So if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know from my Insta-stories that I’m a frequent TJ Maxx visitor LOL. I love showing you guys what I find there and I always get tons of messages thanking me for the TJ Maxx tours. I’m glad you guys love watching it as much as I love posting about it!
So, let’s talk about this baby pastel yellow polish.
This is a light pastel yellow creme. Formula is poop. I was so disappointed the formula on this was so crappy. It’s streaky, it’s patchy, it’s difficult. Wish I could say it isn’t, but I can’t. If you’re not a skilled experienced nail polish painter like I am, you’re gonna hate this polish because it’s not easy to apply. The only good thing about it is that it’s gorgeous after 3 coats. Buttery, sunshine-y, pastel-y, Spring-y, and yellow-y. Love the color, hate the formula.
This polish was part of a duo set that was originally released in the Spring of 2013. It was a collaboration between NARS makeup brand and Pierre Hardy shoes/handbags.

I’m glad I only paid $5 for this puppy and not the original $29 that it sold for years ago. However, I’m not keeping this guy. It’s going into my destash pile. I’ve decided that if I don’t love a polish as soon as I swatch it and blog about it, it’s going bye bye.
This was my first time trying a NARS polish and although I didn’t like it, I’m not ruling out NARS from future polish purchases. Hopefully the next time will be great!
Have you tried NARS nail polish? What is your go to yellow polish?
