Hi pretty polishers! Today I’m sharing with you another fabulous orange from my “October Orange” series where I feature fun, beautiful, and perfect-for-Halloween orange polishes for the month of October. I have a bunch more to share this month! Today’s star is Stoked to be Soaked by China Glaze.
Orange is basically October’s color of the month because it symbolizes pumpkins, Fall leaves, and candy corn which are all very popular this month. I never realized how much orange polish I have until I started this series! Each one is special and unique.
Stoked to be Soaked is a super smooth pumpkin orange creme. This polish is from the Summer 2014 Off Shore Collection. It goes on a little streaky on the 1st coat. After 2 coats I could still spot some bald spots so I added a 3rd. Thick coats will work best for opacity with this polish. This is 3 coats.
This polish reminded me immediately of Juice Bar Hopping which I reviewed here and is also a great polish for October Orange. Well Ijust had to compare these two! Here they are side by side:
As you can see, Juice Bar Hopping by OPI is darker, more of a rich juicy orange and more sheer than Stoked to be Soaked. So these are not DUPES!
China Glaze is 3-FREE so that means it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. China Glaze retails for about $7.50 or less in the US and is sold at Ulta, Sally Beauty Supply, and local beauty supply stores.
Did you love this orange? What is your favorite Halloween orange? Happy Mani Monday!
