Hi Pretty Polishers! How is your week going? Today I’m sharing with you the two new gorgeous polishes from the re-promotion of the OPI Coca-Cola Collection. Two new shades were released recently to commemorate the 100 years of Coca-Cola! Mmm 🙂 For all of you Coca-Cola aficionados this is a must-have! Here is the set:
OPI is re-promoting last year’s Coca-Cola collection and released these two beautiful shades in this awesome duo set. I love the packaging! I found this set at my local beauty supply store and purchased it for $12. Nicole by OPI also released a Coca-Cola Collection this year but I haven’t gotten a chance to pick it up. Super sleek packaging right?
So I’m warning you guys, this post is gonna be a bit picture heavy. I couldn’t resist taking photos of these gorgeous shades with actual coke bottles! They really nailed it on the colors matching perfectly with the real life bottles. These photos were all taken outdoors under natural sunlight and under shade to show the contrast of color.
Visions of Georgia Green
This is a pearly and lightly sparkling green totally inspired by the classic Coca-Cola bottle, which they nailed! It was pretty sheer on the first and second coat, so I added a third coat to make it more shimmery and opaque. The base of this color is pearlized and it has beautiful green shimmery circle glitter that shifts in color with the sun and lighting. I really loved this color and it is unique in my collection. This is 3 coats.
I had to hunt for that glass coke bottle!! Apparently these are not sold in all gas stations anymore. They usually have plastic or can coke bottles. I’m glad I found this one though 🙂
This is a shimmery pewter. It was semi-sheer on the first coat, but covered up nicely on the second coat. This polish is more opaque than Visions of Georgia Green. It is also a gorgeous polish!! This is 2 coats.
I decided to add my favorite color from last year’s original Coca-Cola Collection to this post because it’s too gorgeous not to re-share.
This is a perfect bright fire engine classic red. The formula is amazing and it is opaque in two coats. If you’ve been following me on Instagram since the beginning of my blog, you will remember this baby from my Middle Eastern trip here.
I also bought a super cute red Coca-Cola bottle and painted the town RED with pictures!!! LOL
If Coca-Cola ever needs a hand model, I’m so ready! I also love Green on the Runway from last year’s Coca-Cola Collection. I did a review and post on that one a while ago here. Boy, have my posts and cuticles come a long way!
OPI is 3 FREE so it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. Not all of OPI’s polishes are 3 FREE but it is said that after 2006 all are 3 FREE. It’s best to check labels if you have a concern. OPI is sold at beauty supply stores, Ulta, Target, drugstores, and Amazon or eBay if you want to find the classics. This set can be found on Amazon here.
What do you think of these new shades? Have you picked any of these up or do you have a favorite from last year’s Coca-Cola Collection?
