OPI Fall 2015 Venice Collection | Swatches + Review Part 3

Happy Mani Monday & Cyber Monday pretty polishers! It’s the last day in November so that means Christmas is a blink away. I’m looking forward to it! Today I’ve got the last 3 shades from the Fall 2015 OPI Venice Collection. These are Limited Edition shades. Three metallics and one has glitter.

In case you missed the 1st half of this collection, you can see it here and the 2nd half can be seen here. The inspiration behind this collection was people watching in the piazza, sipping champagne in a gondola, and enjoying gelato in an outdoor café. Suzi Weiss-Fischmann traveled to none other than one of the most romantic cities in the world Venice, Italy to see the sights and taste the food that inspired this gorgeous collection. Best job in the world, in my opinion!

The entire Fall 2015 Venice Collection consists of 12 polishes and 3 Limited Edition polishes. There are 3 shimmers and 9 cremes in the larger collection and the Limited Edition collection consists of 3 metallics and 1 contains glitter. Whenever there are huge collections like this, I like to split them up just to make it easier on the eyes and not overload you with pictures. So today I’m gonna share the limited edition polishes of this gorgeous collection.

The formulas on these were all different, so I will describe formulas for each one. The colors are also very different and not your “typical” Fall shades. I also added top coat to all of my swatches and photos are all taken indoors for accuracy. Let’s get to it!

VENICE THE PARTY?

This is an aquamarine metallic. It was definitely brushstrokey but not in a bad way. It was a tiny sheer on the 1st coat, but covers very well on the 2nd coat. This gives me a mermaid/ocean-esque vibe.

BAROQUE… BUT STILL SHOPPING!

This is a gold shimmer with a sort of greenish tint and gold multi-sized hex glitters in it. It looks almost frosty and reminds me of a bubbly champagne. This dries very matte so you will need a top coat. It covers great on the 1st coat and is perfectly opaque on the 2nd coat. I’m sure many of you can relate to the name of this polish especially after this Thanksgiving weekend shopping mayhem and with today being Cyber Monday!

ST. MARK’S THE SPOT

This is a gorgeous sapphire blue metallic. SO beautiful!!! The formula was great. It’s a bit brushstrokey but nothing crazy. It covers well on the 1st coat and amazing on the 2nd coat. This polish reminds me of a polish I used to wear all the time when I was 15 and had fake acrylic nails. LOL Oh the horror of having fake nails!

My favorite from this trio is definitely St. Mark’s the Spot. It looks lovely on the nails and is great for the winter and holiday seasons coming up. Which one was your favorite? Are you doing any Cyber Monday shopping today?

The OPI Fall 2015 Venice Collection is available in stores now and retail for about $9.50 USD. OPI is 3 FREE so it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. Not all of OPI’s polishes are 3 FREE but it is said that after 2006 all are 3 FREE. It’s best to check labels if you have a concern. OPI is sold at beauty supply stores, Ulta, Target, drugstores, and Amazon or eBay. Most of the OPI classic polishes are available online or stores.

Happy Cyber Monday shopping!
