Hi Pretty Polishers!! Today I have a very special post to share. I have teamed up with some amazingly talented bloggers to bring you Pastel Geometric nail art! Everyone participating is part of a small tight knit Facebook group called Paint All The Nails. A themed link-up helps to increase engagement on our blogs so after we voted, Pastel Geometric won. It’s my second time participating in the link-up so I’m really excited. I love nail art and I don’t do it often enough so this was the perfect excuse 🙂 Let’s take a look at all of the amazing designs we came up with this month!
I decided to use these pastel beauties from Color Club:
From left to right –
Wicker Park + Blue-Ming + Take Me To Your Chateau + French Tip
All of these are amazing opaque cremes. Perfect for nail art! Color Club is seriously one of my favorite mainstream brands. I love the formulas and shades! Anyway, back to the Pastel Geometric Nail Art… here’s how I created these:
Paint each nail a different color. I did one coat because these beauties are all one coaters!!!
Once the first color is completely dry, take a different color and make a slanted line across your nail to overlap the first color. I did these free hand but you can use nail vinyls to guide your lines.
Once that color is dry, take a third different color and make a slanted line going the opposite way of the second color to overlap it. Use a small clean up brush dipped in acetone to get rid of any polish that is around your nails. Add a glossy top coat and you’re done!
This geometric pattern is really easy to do and the result is this awesome mani 🙂 Honestly I had been dying to try this method out, so I’m really glad I chose to do this design. My original pastel geometric design failed, but I’m glad I decided to do this one instead. There are so many different colors you can use to create this look.
I’m pretty obsessed with the way these turned out!
Check out the other beautiful designs my talented fellow blogger friends did for our link up:
