I LOVE the Revlon Parfumerie line because the bottles and caps are so adorable. They look so chic and cute! This is the second time I try Revlon polish, the first time was here. The scents are hit or miss for me. Some of them smell amazing and others are too strong. Let’s take a look at these Fall-perfect shades.

BORDEAUX

This is a burgundy creme. What an impeccable formula! WOW, just perfect. This shade is very typical in the Fall season and I simply love it. This is 2 easy coats.

The scent was very subtle. It just smelled like regular polish and after it dried it smelled a tiny bit floral. I think maybe they were going for a countryside flowery scent but I didn’t smell that. It smelled good either way.

CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE

This is a deep chocolate brown creme. Super opaque in 2 coats. Lovely easy formula.

The scent on this one… oh my. Ok so when I first applied it, the strong chocolate scent was immediately noticeable. I liked it at first, and then after some time once it dried it’s all I could smell. I intended on wearing this polish for at least a day but after 30 mins I had to take it off becuase the chocolate scent became overwhelming. It’s a shame becuase it’s a lovely shade, but the scent is way too strong for my liking.

Out of these two I prefer Bordeaux because the scent was nice and subtle and I simply love the vampy burgundy shade for Fall.

Revlon nail polish is 3 FREE so they do not contain any formaldehyde, toluene, or DBP. Revlon was the first company to completely remove all of these ingredients from nail enamels and led the change that was finally embraced by others in the cosmetics industry several years later. Revlon nail polish is sold at drug stores and mass retailers like Target & Wal-Mart. They usually retail for about $3.99 – $5.99 USD. Fun fact: Revlon owns SinfulColors Professional, Almay, Pure Ice and a few other cosmetic brands.
