Happy Holidays pretty polishers! Christmas is around the corner so if you’re celebrating it, then you’re probably excited!! Today I’m sharing a holiday collection just in time for the special season. This is the 2016 Santa Bae Collection by SinfulColors Professional.
This collection is filled with glitters and one duochrome that is absolutely stunning! These can all be layered over a colored base or applied on their own. Most of the time glitters can be tedious and stubborn to remove so make sure you either add a peel off base coat or layer it on a white or black base. Let’s take a look at these.
This is a clear base filled with gold shimmer, red & white microglitter, and red & white large hex glitter. This one is opaque in 3 coats. It is a bit thick and goopy but it’s a dense glitter so the opacity is great.
I also layered one coat of this over a black polish and it looks stunning! I even layered one coat of this over a nude polish. You can check out those swatches at the end of this post in my YouTube video.
THAT’S ELFED UP!
This is a clear base filled with tiny white micro hex glitter that looks like snow, green glitter, and red & beige/nude large hex glitter. It’s not completely opaque on it’s own in 2 coats.
So I decided to layer it over black polish and I really like it! Don’t the little white glitters look like snow?
Here is what it looks like 2 coats on it’s own.
SLEIGH MY NAME
This is a pearlized iridescent shimmer filled with small & large gold hex glitter, and white stars. This one without a doubt looks best over black. I didn’t even try it on it’s own because I knew it would look so frosty over black. This is 1 coat over black.
The stars weren’t easy to fish out. But once I got them out, I placed them where I wanted to on my nails.
This is a gold shimmer filled with blue small hex glitter and purple large hex glitter. I decided to do 2 coats of this over white because the glitter pay off wasn’t that great.
This one is Christmas in a bottle!!! It’s a clear base filled with small & medium green hex glitter and large red & holo hex glitter. I did 2 coats of this over white again. I used the dab and spread method to get this evened out on the nail.
My only complaint about this glitter (and several of the SinfulColors glitters) is that the red glitter bleeds onto the base so it tints it slightly pinkish which sucks, but it’s not horrible. SC really needs to step up their glitter bleeding prevention game.
I saved the best for last. This is a gorgeous bronze to purple duochrome. Oh MY! This is completely opaque in 2 coats. Fantastic formula and goes on smooth.
It comes to LIFE outdoors under shade. I am in love with this polish under this lighting. Stunning!!!
The shift on this beauty is truly gorgeous.
I found these at my local Target and Walgreens. SinfulColors Professional is 3-FREE (contains no Toluene, Formaldehyde, or DBP) and they are made in the USA. The best part is the price! They are very affordable and good quality polish. You can find this polish at Walgreens or Target for $1.99 each USD.
