#tbt My picks from the OPI 2016 Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection

Hey pretties! So it’s Throwback Thursday again and this time I wanted to post some of my picks from the OPI 2016 Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection.

Did you guys see the movie when it released? If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly suggest you watch it!!! I actually just saw it a few weeks ago and it’s AMAZING!!! I love Alice in Wonderland the original Disney cartoon movie, so the real life renditions made by Disney have been incredible.

OPI released the 2016 Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection last Summer but I didn’t pick up the entire collection because honestly I wasn’t really that into all the shades. The only one I picked up was Fearlessly Alice, but I never got around to swatching it. Then… a few weeks ago I spotted this gem at TJ Maxx for only $6 bucks.

I LOVE the packaging of the duo set so I had to get it. I love Johnny Depp’s character in the movie as the Mad Hatter. He’s phenomenal! So since I had 3 polishes from this collection I decided to do a little #tbt post since this collection is from last year. Let’s take a look.

MAD FOR MADNESS SAKE

Ahhhhh! This beauty is a warm magenta pink creme with blue undertones. Love love love! It has such a great formula, opaque in 2 easy coats. It’s not too thin and not too thick. Adore this polish!!

WHAT’S THE HATTER WITH YOU?

This yumminess is a deep rich berry violet creme. Formula is also good but I did 3 coats here just to make it 100% even. You know me and my opacity. If it’s not completely opaque after 2 coats and I feel like it should be, then I do 3 coats.

FEARLESSLY ALICE

The star of the trio! This is a super bright gorgeous cerulean blue. It is magical. Formula is amazing, it’s almost opaque in 1 coat. The only tiny sad part about this baby is that it’s a stainer. Whaaaahhhh 🙁 Just be careful when you remove it because it might stain your skin.

OPI is 3 FREE so it doesn’t contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, or DBP. Not all of OPI’s polishes are 3 FREE but it is said that after 2006 all are 3 FREE. It’s best to check labels if you have a concern. OPI is sold at beauty supply stores, Ulta, Target, drugstores, and Amazon or eBay.

Do you have any of the polishes from the Alice Through the Looking Glass Collection? Which one of these is your favorite?
