TGIF Pretty Polishers!
Hope everyone had a wonderful first week of November. Today I am sharing a special polish. Illamasqua was a brand I had been coveting for a while. This UK brand has a variety of makeup and gorgeous nail lacquers that are all 3-Free. They are a bit on the pricy side and difficult to find in the US since Sephora doesn’t sell it anymore, so I had been on the hunt for some time until my boyfriend suggested I look on eBay! Of course, good ol’ eBay!! Why hadn’t I thought about that before? So I began my search and didn’t have to search for long until I found Viridian. The price was good and I decided to treat myself and finally try this beautiful brand. When I received the polish I was so pleasantly surprised. The seller had included an additional Illamasqua lipgloss, creme blush, and a bunch of other goodies! I was so happy and excited with my nail mail 🙂 I was also so incredibly impatient that I opened the nail polish and painted my nails right away!!! 🙂
Viridian from the Fall 2010 Art of Darkness Collection is a peacock teal blue with a metallic/foil finish. This color is a dream, very different than any other color in my collection. The formula was excellent and very easy to apply. It was opaque in two coats. There is something elegant and intriguing about this color that makes me obsess over it more! All of my Illamasqua expectations were met and Heidi, my eBay seller, made my first purchase even more memorable 🙂
I hope to find more Illamasqua colors to add to my collection.
