Wet N Wild: Spring into the Wild

Hi Pretty Polishers! How is your week going so far? The weather has been pretty mehh over in Miami because we had tropical storm Colin go through central Florida recently so we felt some remnants of it. Well I’m back today to share with you the Spring Into The Wild Collection by Wet N Wild Megalast. I posted this pic on my Instagram when I spotted these beauties here.

These are actually my very first Wet N Wild Megalast polishes. I have a few of the regular Wet N Wild polishes but none from the Megalast line. I really liked the bottle shape and they have what they call a “ManiCurve Pro Brush” which is a flat, chunky, wide round brush.

I’m usually a big fan of the flat wide brushes, but these were almost too wide and chunky which made application tricky. They have their pros and cons. A Pro I would say is that you can paint some nails in one sweep, but you have to be careful not to overload your brush because then you will flood the sides of your nails. A Con I would say is that you have to be really careful painting your nails with such a wide brush. If you have narrow nail beds, then you won’t like this brush. Let’s take a look at each one of these.

Love Fest

This is a baby pink creme. This one is the sheerest of the bunch. It was still pretty uneven and streaky after 3 coats but a lovely color for Spring!

Lay Out in Lavender

This is a dusty pastel lilac creme. This was also sheer and uneven. I did 3 coats here.

Kiss My Mints

This is a mint creme. Ahhh mints are my faves. This one was very thick so be super careful not to overload your brush because you will flood your cuticles. I did 2 coats.

Breeze on By

This is a dusty pastel cornflower blue creme. I was surprised this needed 3 coats to be even and not streaky because it was the darker of the quartet.

Overall, I wasn’t a fan of the formula on these, but I was a fan of the colors. They are so gorgeous and pretty for Spring time. The price is also fantastic. I found these at Kmart for $1.99 USD. They are Limited Edition and I found them recently so they should still be at retailers. These are on the same price point as SinfulColors Professional but I like the SCP formulas much better.

Another product that is hot right now from Wet N Wild is their new line of makeup brushes. They are cruelty free, gluten free, and vegan. They have an ergonomic handle for full control. I picked up two because I’ve heard all the YouTube beauty gurus rave about them so I wanted to give them a try!

Wet N Wild polishes are cruelty free and 3 FREE. They are based in Los Angeles, CA. Fun fact: They were the first beauty company to introduce black nail polish into drugstores!

Have you tried Wet N Wild Megalast polishes? Which one of these was your favorite?
