Happy Friday pretty polishers! I have managed to blog everyday this week and that makes me sooo incredibly happy 🙂 Today I’ve got the ZOYA 2016 Whispers Collection to showcase. I purchased the polishes I was missing from this collection during a recent ZOYA sale so I’m glad I had all of these to finally do a full review and just in time for the last weekend before Summer officially starts in the US. Let’s take a look.
This is a beige nude creme. The formula was tricky. It was still streaky after 2 coats so I added a 3rd coat for full opacity and smoothness.
This is a blush pink nude creme. Ughh another difficult formula. It’s a shame because I love the blush tone in this nude polish. This is 3 coats.
This is a grey toned mauve creme. This one had a thicker formula, an improvement from the last two. This is 2 coats.
This is a grey toned pastel blue creme. This one had a thick formula but it was difficult to apply. I had some streakiness even after 2 coats on some nails so this one was opaque in 2.5 coats.
This is a dusty taupe grey with a tinge of brown, difficult to describe polish! The formula was similar to Lake, I did 2.5 coats.
This is a muddy sage green. This one had the best formula out of the 6, they saved the best for last! LOL I just didn’t like the sage tone with my skin tone but it’s a beautiful color.
So overall, these had difficult formulas in my opinion. I wasn’t a fan of the grey undertones and muddiness because it didn’t mesh well with my skin tone. These would probably look great on more fair, lighter skin tones.
